Yes, all citizens of Côte d’Ivoire require a visa to enter Egypt. In addition, they must obtain a security clearance (pre-approval) from the Egyptian authorities before traveling. Without this approval, entry to Egypt is not permitted.

The applicant must be present in person at the Egyptian Embassy in Côte d'Ivoire, and must provide the following:
Passport valid for at least 6 months.
A photocopy of the first page of the passport.
Fill out the visa application form and provide two 4x6 passport-sized photos with a white background.
Bank statement for the last two months prior to applying for the visa.
A work certificate is required for tourists (except for those over 50 years old). Students must also provide a university enrollment certificate.
